Conseco to Recapture Block of Traditional Life Policies
Conseco, Inc. , announced an agreement under which its Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company subsidiary ("Colonial Penn") will recapture a block of approximately $50 million of annualized traditional life insurance premium in force that had been ceded in 2002 to Reassure America Life Insurance Company ("REALIC"), an affiliate of Swiss Reinsurance Company.
